About
The Greenwich Spanish School

The Greenwich Spanish School offers a comprehensive pre-K academic curriculum for children ages 3-5, with a focus on pre-reading, pre-writing, and pre-math skills, all taught exclusively in Spanish. In addition, English language development is emphasized to help children begin reading and writing in their native language.
The school’s mission is to introduce children to bilingualism at the ideal age, as research shows that bilingualism enhances cognitive, integrative, scientific, and mathematical abilities.
Currently, GSS serves preschool-aged children (3 to 5 years), but there are plans to expand offerings to higher grade levels. Programs for Kindergarten through grade 3 are also available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and summer programs welcome children of all levels—no prior Spanish knowledge required.
